We're seeking a highly skilled Windows Administrator to join a large, secure government environment. This is an opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary ICT team delivering essential infrastructure and systems support across complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert support across Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and Exchange environments.
  • Design, implement, and maintain secure and efficient ICT systems using Cisco, VMware ESXi, and SCCM.
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate and streamline administrative tasks.
  • Deliver 2nd-level incident support and proactive systems monitoring.
  • Prepare detailed technical documentation, reports, and design artefacts.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers, contributing to knowledge transfer and skill development.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary ICT team to achieve shared outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant Work Health and Safety (WHS) legislation and policies.

Skills & Experience

  • Extensive experience administering Microsoft Windows Server technologies.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Active Directory, Exchange, SCCM, VMware, and Cisco environments.
  • Strong PowerShell scripting skills.
  • Proven ability to produce clear technical documentation and reports.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience in mentoring and leading junior technical staff.
  • Understanding of system performance tuning, configuration management, and software patching processes.
  • Familiarity with SFIA Level 4 standards or equivalent professional capability frameworks.
  • NV1 Security Clearance (or ability to obtain).
