Dental Assistant / Receptionist

Location: Caboolture, QLD

Are you a passionate and reliable dental receptionist or assistant who loves creating a positive experience for every patient? Do you pride yourself on being adaptable, organised, and ready to jump in wherever needed?

The Dental Club Caboolture is on the lookout for a Casual Dental Assistant who's more than just a receptionist – we want a true all-rounder who's comfortable both front-of-house and chairside.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-focused environment, enjoys early starts or later finishes (depending on the day), and is looking to grow their career in a modern, supportive dental practice.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Assisting the dentist chairside during a wide range of procedures, ensuring optimal patient comfort and clinical efficiency
  • Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms, including sterilisation of instruments in line with infection control protocols
  • Taking and processing digital X-rays, impressions, and intraoral photographs (as required)
  • Supporting patient care by explaining post-treatment instructions and maintaining a calming, professional presence
  • Managing front desk duties such as booking appointments, handling patient enquiries, and processing payments when needed
  • Maintaining accurate clinical and administrative records using dental software (Exact experience a bonus)
Who We're Looking For:
  • Dental experience is essential – ideally in both front office and clinical support roles
  • A flexible team player who is happy to work early mornings and evening shifts as needed
  • Friendly, proactive, and well-presented with excellent communication skills
  • Someone who's calm under pressure, with strong attention to detail
  • Familiarity with Exact dental software is a bonus – but not a dealbreaker (training provided)
