The Role

The Education Specialist plays a pivotal role in building and scaling Jomablue's education ecosystem- covering internal staff, contractors, customers, and partners. This role blends strategic ownership, program design, and hands-on content development to deliver structured, measurable education programs that enable product mastery and operational excellence.

This position requires a strategic thinker skilled in instructional design, multimedia content creation, and certification frameworks. The successful candidate will develop and govern learning programs that are consistent, data-driven, and aligned with Jomablue's product-led growth vision.

You must be motivated and passionate about great service. Within a small team, you understand that working closely with others and pitching in when necessary helps our team be stronger and reach our goals.

This is a full-time role based in our Ultimo, NSW office

Your Duties

  • Lead the overarching education strategy, aligning training initiatives with business goals across internal, customer, and partner audiences.
  • Define the framework for education delivery (LMS, micro-learning, live sessions, certification programs, and knowledge base) to ensure scalability and consistency.
  • Act as the business owner of the Learning Management System, maintaining a seamless, high-quality learning experience across audiences.
  • Define and uphold consistent standards for all learning delivery—ensuring programs are repeatable, measurable, and aligned with business goals.
  • Collaborate with workstream owners on the design of continuous learning programs for team members.
  • Develop structured certification pathways to support assessment of product knowledge.
  • Partner with team leaders to standardise and document operational processes and support a culture of continuous learning.

Essential:

  • Proven experience in instructional design, enablement, or education program management, ideally in a SaaS, technology, or events environment.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and digital learning methodologies.
  • Experience managing and optimising LMS platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to design scalable learning programs across formats (written, video, interactive, live).
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder coordination skills, able to work cross-functionally with multiple teams.
  • Strong writing, editing, and content quality oversight skills.
  • Skilled facilitator, confident in delivering training sessions and coaching others to present effectively.
  • Analytical and data-driven, with experience using metrics to evaluate training impact.
  • High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all learning materials.
  • Strategic thinker with a passion for creating scalable learning ecosystems.
  • Pragmatic and hands-on—comfortable balancing strategy with execution.
  • Proactive problem solver who thrives in a dynamic, evolving environment.
  • Committed to building a culture of continuous learning and enablement.

Desirable:

  • Background in certification program design or credential frameworks.
  • Experience working with or improving AI-accessible documentation (e.g., optimizing structure for retrieval or AI comprehension).
  • Familiarity with knowledge base governance or documentation ecosystems (e.g., BoldDesk, Confluence, Notion).
  • Exposure to customer education, partner enablement, or technical training programs in a product-led environment.
  • Understanding of user analytics, reporting, and feedback loops to guide content iteration.
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for technology and digital learning innovation.
  • Natural coach and mentor, able to empower others to become educators.
  • Comfortable interpreting and presenting data insights to inform decisions.
  • Appreciation for user experience and accessibility in education design.
