CCNSW we're here for meaningful careers that feel good.
About The Team
The Skin Cancer Prevention Unit is at the forefront of developing and implementing evidence-based policies, programs, communications, and advocacy actions to reduce skin cancer incidence in NSW. This role sits within the Education Stream of work, supporting the delivery and enhancement of the SunSmart program in NSW. SunSmart is dedicated to preventing skin cancer by promoting sun safety among children under 12. The program collaborates with primary schools, early childhood education and care services, and out-of-school hours services to develop and implement effective sun protection policies. By embedding sun protection into these environments, SunSmart aims to reduce children's exposure to UV radiation and lower their subsequent risk of skin cancer.
