Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Mechanic to join us to support the overall function of our agricultural team at our Wonga Plains Feedlot. The role involves scheduling regular maintenance, sourcing quotes on major repairs and discussing equipment upkeep and replacement with management.

Responsibilities:

  • Service and repair feedlot machinery like feed trucks, bikes, buggies, bores, pumps, and vehicles
  • Carry out regular checks and preventative maintenance to keep equipment safe and running well
  • Keep clear records of all maintenance, repairs, and inspections
  • Respond quickly to breakdowns during busy periods to avoid delays
  • Make sure all machinery meets safety rules and company standards
  • Manage spare parts, order replacements, and keep essential items in stock

Ideal Candidate:

  • Are a trade qualified Mechanic.
  • Experience in a similar role in the mechanical field.
  • Good computer skills and strong attention to detail.
