How will your ideas contribute to shaping what's next?

As our new Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you'll be a vital part of the Ground and Underground Team who are changing the way we design and deliver major works. Your skills will include:

• At least 10 years professional geotechnical experience, must hold CPEng and current RPEQ status
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• In-depth knowledge of standard geotechnical analysis software, including but not limited to PLAXIS, GeoStudio suite and Rocscience suite, and can coach and teach others in their use
• Able to work as part of a remote team, local team or work imbedded in Client teams
• Experience providing input to client proposals and tenders
• Experience communicating with Clients, Managers, and project stakeholders, and mentoring emerging professionals
• Have demonstrated design and report writing skills through the entire project lifecycle (e.g. preliminary design/optioneering through to detailed IFC design)
• Design and delivery project experience with Department of Transport and Main Roads is well regarded
• Member of the AGS, maintain knowledge of Geotechnical and Ground Engineering industry developments and recommend actions as a result. Contribution to industry dialogue, standards and codes is well regarded.

As well as experience in a similar Geotechnical Engineering role, you will also need a tertiary qualification in Geotechnical / Civil Engineering, hold Chartership, RPEQ and extensive experience in the delivery of major geotechnical projects including feasibility, concept and detailed design.
