Finance Transformation Analyst

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled transformation professional to join our dynamic team in the heart of Sydney CBD. As a Finance Transformation Analyst at IPH, you will support global finance transformation initiatives and work cross-functionally and cross-regionally to assess, design, and support the rollout of standardized and optimized finance processes and systems.

This role requires a proactive individual with hands-on experience in process mapping, system implementations, and designing target operating models (TOMs).

Some of the key responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with regional finance teams and global stakeholders to analyse current-state processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop detailed process maps (As-Is and To-Be) using BPMN or similar methodologies and incorporating control & security frameworks.
• Support the design and implementation of target operating models aligned with strategic business goals.
• Assist in the implementation of finance systems (ERP, automation tools), including data migration, UAT, and training support.
• Lead workshops and meetings with stakeholders across various time zones to gather requirements, validate solutions, and drive consensus.
• Prepare documentation such as business requirements, SOPs, training guides, and change impact assessments.
• Provide project support for transformation workstreams, including tracking milestones and issue resolution.
• Work closely with technology, finance, and change management teams to ensure cohesive execution.
• Maintain a focus on process efficiency, control, and scalability.

About You:

To be effective in this position you need to meet most of the areas noted below:

• 5+ years' experience in finance transformation, business analysis, or finance operations.
• Proven track record in process mapping, re-engineering, and optimisation within finance functions.
• Lean Sigma Six required
• Familiarity with APQC Frameworks
• Strong knowledge of financial processes (e.g., Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash).
• Proven experience working on global ERP and/or financial system implementations (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, Dynamics365, Anaplan etc).
• Familiarity with Target Operating Model optimisation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
• Comfortable working across multiple time zones and in a virtual team environment.
• Proficient in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Miro), Microsoft Office Suite, and project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project).
• Prior leadership in change management or finance operating model transitions.
• Experience in hybrid delivery environments.
• Flexibility to work early mornings/late evenings on occasion to accommodate global stakeholders (APAC, Americas)
• Travel may be required
