Our client, a financial services organisation located in Sydney, is seeking two Business Analyst with expertise in finance, treasury operations, and banking/payments to join their team on a 12 month Day rate contract - to Start as soon as possible.

The right Business Analysts with proven experience in M&A separation and integration, specifically across Finance, Treasury Operations, Treasury and Banking (including Payments).  Preferred candidates will have experience in large-scale, complex financial services integrations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the capture and documentation of business requirements for Finance, Treasury Operations, Treasury and Banking streams.
  • Validate current-state processes and design future-state processes aligned with integration objectives.
  • Conduct interviews and facilitate workshops with Operations, Finance, Treasury, and Banking stakeholders.
  • Act as liaison between various business units and IT teams to ensure alignment on requirements and integration approach.
  • Analyse workflows to define cutover design for financial and treasury systems.
  • Support business testing and cutover activities for payment systems and treasury platforms.
  • Support impact analysis for Finance and Treasury teams and contribute to change management activities.
  • Develop updated process documentation and training materials for Finance and Treasury operations teams.

Skills & Experience

Mandatory

  • Demonstrated experience in M&A separation/integration projects within financial services.
  • Strong background in Finance, Treasury Operations, Banking processes, including payments and settlements.

Desirable

  • Experience working within or alongside professional services or audit firms particularly on finance and treasury transformation or integration projects.
  • Understanding of technology components supporting Finance and Treasury (e.g., payment gateways, authentication, data integrations).
  • Familiarity with banking platforms and treasury systems.
