About Us

At Communify, we are dedicated to supporting people across all life stages, empowering them to live active, healthy, and socially connected lives. We provide a wide range of services including mental health, alcohol and other drug (AOD) recovery, disability, housing and homelessness, family support, aged care, multicultural programs, and community development.

Our Springboard program is a free, 18-week program supporting people experiencing alcohol and other drug use alongside co-occurring mental health difficulties. It offers a mix of individual and group support from pre-treatment through to aftercare, helping participants build sustainable recovery pathways.

The Role

We are seeking a Springboard Facilitator to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will:

  • Co-facilitate group sessions for clients experiencing AOD and mental health concerns.
  • Provide individual case management, including recovery planning, advocacy, and referrals.
  • Facilitate readiness and information groups during intake.
  • Support aftercare peer groups both during and outside program hours.
  • Collect and maintain accurate data for evaluation and reporting.
  • Engage with external services to strengthen referral pathways.
  • Contribute to program review and continuous improvement.

About You

You will be an experienced professional with:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (AOD, mental health, social work, community services, or related field).
  • Strong group facilitation and co-facilitation skills.
  • Experience in case management and working with people experiencing complex needs.
  • Knowledge of recovery-oriented practice and ability to support safe program exits.
  • Excellent communication and rapport-building skills with cultural sensitivity.
  • A commitment to social justice, inclusivity, and collaborative teamwork.

Mandatory requirements:

  • Current Queensland driver's licence
  • National Police Check
