**Your opportunity**
As a Clinical Educator, you’ll play a lead role in designing and delivering training that builds the clinical knowledge, skills and practice of all our people across the organisation.
You’ll be developing, delivering, and evaluating training in alcohol and drugs and mental health, which is in line with our Clinical Capability framework and our evidence-based services.
You will join a small but impactful Capability team that is well established and recognised by our internal stakeholders, and which is deeply committed to supporting our clinicians.
You’ll know that you’re leaving a positive wake when:
- You develop and implement clinical learning and development solutions within LLW, so that our clinicians gain and sustain their competency in AOD and mental health practice which is in alignment with LLW’s Evidence-Based Practice policy.
- You lead and coordinate a calendar of clinical learning events, using direct and virtual mechanisms to provide clinical learning.
- Our training experiences and activities for staff, deliver the best learner experiences and client outcomes.
- Having liaised, consulted, and worked closely with stakeholders within the organisation you are able to provide solutions which will meet the needs of learners and stakeholders.
This is a full-time, ongoing role based in Spring Hill Brisbane CBD.
**The salary range **for this position is $90,000 - $95,000 per annum depending on knowledge, skills, and experience + Salary Packaging + Superannuation (10.5%) + Leave loading (17.5%) + 5 additional days of paid Wellbeing Leave.
**What you’ll bring**
To succeed in this role, there are some essentials you’ll need:
- You‘ll be passionate and energetic to help us continue delivering a highly regarded service.
- You’ll be able to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team and be resourceful to find ways to get the job done.
- A Tertiary clinical qualification in a relevant clinical field.
- 3+ years experience working directly in AOD and/or mental health.
- Demonstrated experience (and ideally qualifications) in the development, delivery and evaluation of innovative clinical training programs.
- Applied knowledge of adult learning principles in group and virtual settings, including working with learning management systems.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills especially in group facilitation and stakeholder collaboration.
