With a strong pipeline of projects and momentum building for the next four years, we're expanding nationally—starting with Adelaide. Following our recent appointment to the SA Water Engineering Panel (commenced 1 October 2025), we're looking for a forward-thinking Mechanical Engineer / Project Engineer to join our team and collaborate with talented colleagues across Australia.
What You'll Do
Depending on your experience, you will:
- Drive technical quality in water and wastewater infrastructure design projects
- Produce mechanical and hydraulic designs across the full project lifecycle
- Manage design on a range of projects or program work packages
- Contribute to improved client satisfaction and project outcomes
- Assist in project and design management as needed
- Mentor emerging team members and collaborate nationally
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Eligible and/or working towards CPEng
- Proven experience in engineering consultancy or design roles (water industry experience advantageous)
- Technical skills in water/wastewater conveyance and treatment
- Experience in hydraulic design, pump station design, CFD, and pipe stress analysis
- Proficiency in equipment selection and specification
- Familiarity with Plant 3D or Inventor (advantageous)
- Knowledge of CHAIR, HAZOP, and Safety in Design practices
- Strong communication skills and ability to prepare technical reports
