We're a small, fast-growing Perth team managing boutique short-stay and Airbnb-style homes under the Home the Way brand.

Our focus: beautiful presentation, seamless guest experiences, and trusted client relationships.

With a growing portfolio and supportive, down-to-earth culture, we're expanding, and we're looking for a reliable Short-Stay Property Assistant to join us on the ground.


The Role

This is a flexible, hands-on position combining cleaning, coordination, and client support.

You'll be our local go-to person across Perth, ensuring each property looks its best and operations run smoothly.

Day-to-day you'll:

  • Clean and reset short-stay properties between guests to a professional standard.
  • Drop off / collect linen at our partner laundromat.
  • Attend property appointments, client meet-ups, and handovers as required.
  • Be available for video calls with management or clients to support coordination tasks.
  • Conduct property checks, report maintenance needs, and liaise with trades or cleaners.
  • Capture short photos/videos and complete quick checklists or reports for each visit.
  • Occasionally assist with errands or deliveries (paid per engagement).

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and being part of a high-energy business in growth mode.


What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience in cleaning, hospitality, or property support preferred.
  • Reliable vehicle & valid driver's licence.
  • Police clearance (or willingness to obtain).
  • Working rights in Australia.
  • Excellent communication skills - comfortable on video and in-person.
  • Organised, punctual, and dependable with a strong eye for detail.
  • Tech-savvy (WhatsApp, Google Drive, video links).
  • Well-presented and confident representing the brand at client sites.
  • Flexible availability including weekends or short-notice call-outs when required.

Where You'll Work

Properties are primarily located around Perth CBD, Osborne Park, South Perth, and nearby suburbs. Occasionally travel will be required, this will be organised in advance and remunerated accordingly.
