Job Description:

The Cleaner will be responsible to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of our short stay accommodations. The ideal candidate will ensure that all properties are cleaned to a high standard, providing a welcoming environment for guests.

The role will be on a casual basis initially with the opportunity to transition to a part-time role if suitable.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.

a. Change bed linens, towels, and other linens as required.

b. Replenish essential supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products.

c. Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.

d. Vacuum, mop, and sanitize floors.

  1. Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.

  2. Inventory

a. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages.

b. Check owner inventory and report any missing items.

  1. Provide excellent customer service and be responsive to guest requests.

  2. Knowledge of health & safety standards and safe use of cleaning chemicals

Qualifications/Requirements:

· Previous short-stay accommodation cleaning experience preferred but not essential.

· Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently to meet role requirements and ensure safe handling of chemicals

· Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently and to a high standard

· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures

· Capacity to work independently as well as part of a team

· Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

· Physically fit to perform manual tasks as required

· Flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays as required.

· Required to hold a valid driver's licence and a reliable vehicle to be able to perform this role.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 40 per week
