About The Role:

We are currently seeking youth Worker to support children and young people living in Out of Home Care (OOHC) placements. Positions are available on a casual basis to start, with a rotating monthly roster designed to support work-life balance.

You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary care team, helping to provide a trauma-informed, developmentally appropriate, and therapeutic environment. The aim of the program is to nurture and support children and young people to thrive and reach their full potential.

This role uses the Attachment, Self-Regulation and Competency (ARC) framework, which provides a trauma recovery model of care. As a Youth Worker, you will be central to implementing this approach.

Key Details:

Monthly roster with regular house placement

Morning, Afternoon & Sleepover (Active & Inactive)

Casual and Opportunity for part-time positions available

What We are Looking For

We are seeking Youth Workers who are empathetic, resilient, and deeply committed to supporting vulnerable children and young people.

Ideally, you will have:

A genuine passion for providing child-centred, therapeutic care.

Experience working with children and young people, preferably in OOHC or similar settings.

A collaborative mindset with strong emotional resilience

Understanding of trauma-informed practice and relevant child protection legislation

High-level communication and people skills

Experience supporting young people with disability or mental health needs (highly regarded)

Requirements:

Certificate IV in Youth and Community Services or equivalent

Diploma in Community or Equivalent

NSW Working with Children Check

National Police Check (Less than 6 months old)

Current NSW Driver's License

Current First Aid & PR Certificate

Completed current NDIS modules.

Evidence of Australian Working Rights

Relevant reference checks
