About The Role:
We are currently seeking Therapeutic Support Workers for casual positions (with potential for permanent part-time or full-time employment following a qualifying period). You will support children and young people in Out of Home Care (OOHC) settings, many of whom present with complex trauma histories and high support needs.
As part of a multi-disciplinary care team, you will help create a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment, enabling young people to heal, grow, and develop life skills. This role works within the Attachment, Self-Regulation, and Competency (ARC) trauma recovery framework.
Key Details:
8-hour shifts available 24/7 (morning, afternoon, night)
Weekday, weekend, and public holiday shifts available
Consistent rosters and opportunity for ongoing shifts
Team-based approach with full support and regular supervision
What We are Looking For
We are currently seeking Therapeutic Support Workers for casual positions (with potential for permanent part-time or full-time employment following a qualifying period). As part of a multi-disciplinary care team, you will help create a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment, enabling young people to heal, grow, and develop life skills. This role works within the Attachment, Self-Regulation, and Competency (ARC) trauma recovery framework.
Ideally, you will have:
A minimum of 1 year of experience in Youth Work or similar role
A strong understanding of trauma, attachment, and behavioural support
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Sound people skills and the ability to form positive relationships.
Crisis management knowledge and calmness under pressure
Intermediate computer and documentation skills
Experience with disability and mental health support (highly regarded)
Requirements:
NSW Working with Children Check
NDIS Worker Clearance Check
Evidence of Australia Working Rights
National Police Check (Less than 6 months old)
Current NSW Drivers Licence
Current Fist Aid / CPR certificate
The required NDIS Orientation Modules
2 Relevant reference checks
