Our support workers, known as Residential Care Officers, enrich clients' lives by ensuring they have the opportunity and support, tailored to their individual needs, to explore and participate in all aspects of their life. Our services include support for independent living (accommodation support). Our Disability Support Workers Have The Following Opportunities
- Award wages that include shift allowances, penalties, and other allowances such as meals and clothing as they apply under the Award for Operational Employees in Disability and Forensic Services - State 2016

What would my day look like as a Disability Support Worker? Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Performing daily household tasks with participants that can include menu planning, cooking, and serving meals, cleaning, shopping, laundry, bed making and light garden activities
- Assisting participants to maintain relationships with their family, friends, and advocates
- Helping participants develop and maintain personal independence within their home with personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, showering and safe and enjoyable mealtimes
- Assisting participants in their personal and health care by providing support with medication ensuring correct dosages as prescribed, seizure response, and health needs
