New Town Thai is a sophisticated, immersive and a uniquely styled Thai restaurant in West HQ designed to reflect the rich colours and vibrancy of Thai food and providing a relaxed and casual atmosphere to enjoy with friends and family.

Our traditional Thai menu is curated from fresh and seasonal produce creating the unique aromatic scents and rich flavours ubiquitous to Thailand and includes an assortment of beverages perfectly designed to compliment.

Who's right for the job?

Someone who is experienced preparing Thai dishes. Someone who can work in a friendly and fast paced team and is passionate about cooking.

Someone who doesn't mind working a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and public holidays is a must.

What do you need to be considered?

  • Experience as a Chef De Partie or equivalent
  • You must be an experienced in Thai cuisine
  • Be able to work under pressure, in a heated environment
  • Excellent, friendly attitude
  • Ability to cope well under pressure to ensure guests food expectations are exceeded
  • Willing to work a range of shifts including lunch and dinner as required
  • Available to work across any of the 7 days a week including nights, weekends and public holidays - full time hours
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards are advantageous
