Salary: $77,000.00 to $85,000.00 / year
We are seeking an experienced contract administrator to be based in our main office.
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will be required to perform as a Contract Administrator and demonstrate your capabilities in the following areas:
- Developing, interpreting, reviewing, negotiating and managing contracts on behalf of Tucarma Cleaning Services.
- Managing paperwork associated with contracts, programs and projects and responding to any concerns or queries.
- Managing variations to work orders.
- Liaising with subcontractors, material suppliers, trades, managers and clients to ensure that goals and
schedules are met.
- Ensuring plans, regulations and codes of practice are correctly documented and followed through.
- Assisting the procurement manager in fulfilling the directives and standards of contracts.
- Analysing and generating reports on existing contracts and risks associated with contracts.
- Ensuring compliance with specifications, regulations and contract standards.
- Developing and maintaining relationship with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Collecting and maintaining records in both hard copy and electronic version
- Preparing sales and purchase contracts, negotiating contract terms with internal and external partners.
- Reviewing and updating existing contracts, explaining terms and conditions to managers and interested parties, and ensuring compliance with company contracts.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Tertiary qualification in business administration or similar
Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong financial analysis and administrative focus
Good negotiation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
An eye for detail and the ability to spot errors and omissions at a glance
The ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
A strong understanding and knowledge of contract law
Knowledge of compliance laws and regulations
Proficiency in MicroSoft Suite (Office, Excel, Outlook etc.)
The ability to learn quickly and master internal contracts management systems
The ability to manage competing demands and work well under pressure
