Judgments Services Assistant

A permanent part-time (3 days per week) position in the Collections team undertaking a range of functions associated with managing and publishing Queensland caselaw has become available at Supreme Court Library Queensland (SCLQ).

The Judgments Services Assistant reports to the Caselaw Collection Coordinator and is responsible for undertaking a range of functions associated with managing and publishing Queensland caselaw and sentencing information.
Responsibilities- Process relevant documents to maintain CaseLaw and other judgments service
- Assist with the production, validation and quality control of content for the CaseLaw and other judgments services to ensure the integrity and accuracy of information published
- Review, analyse and record citations, statistics and other data as required for the maintenance and management of CaseLaw and other judgments services
- Assist with CaseLaw related projects such as digitisation or publishing of judgments
- Assist with responding to customer enquiries and providing ongoing customer support in relation to CaseLaw, QSIS and other judgments services
- Proactively manage personal workload and competing priorities
- Build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, customers and key stakeholders
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, including identifying potential efficiencies and enhancements in collection management and information services functions
Remuneration is competitive: $56,886–$67,736 annual salary (pro rata for part-time) depending on skills and experience (plus leave loading and superannuation).
