About the role

We are seeking an experienced MR Truck/Forklift Driver to join our temporary fencing team at Aim Site Hire Pty Ltd based in Bayswater North, Victoria. This is a full-time position that will require you to drive safely to various construction and event sites through out Melbourne to Install, pickup or restand onsite temporary fencing along with your jockey/labourer.

What you'll be doing

  1. Safely operate medium rigid (MR) trucks and LF forklift
  2. Conduct pre-start checks and routine maintenance on vehicles to ensure roadworthiness
  3. Manually unload/load, pickup, install and re-stand temporary fencing
  4. Adhere to all relevant road rules, safety regulations and company policies
  5. Complete daily runs and proof of delivery documentation
  6. Communicate effectively with the operations teams & customers

What we're looking for

  1. A valid MR class driver's licence, LF Forklift Licence, whitecard and a strong safety-first attitude
  2. Knowledge of load restraint, load securing and weight distribution principles
  3. Excellent driving skills and a commitment to safe driving practices
  4. Be strong and physically fit for the role
  5. Effective communication and customer service skills
  6. Ability to work independently as well as as part of a team
  7. Be available for early starts working 6.00am - 2.06pm Mon-Fri
