Role Description
This is a returning client of Nanager, and we are excited to support them again. Their needs have shifted towards finding someone who can support them more in the home, with childcare as an occasional part of the role.
The family is seeking a confident cook who can prepare nutritious meals for both the children and the parents, along with providing household support such as laundry, ironing, tidying bedrooms, and keeping the kitchen and shared areas clean and organised. Occasional errands like groceries, dry cleaning, or post office runs may also be required.
While childcare is not the primary focus, you should feel comfortable supporting their toddler and newborn when needed. Mum will usually be home, so the role suits someone who enjoys working collaboratively alongside a parent. Experience working with these age groups is preferred but not essential.
The family values someone proactive, organised, and reliable. Cleaning experience is not essential, but for candidates who enjoy deep cleaning, the family is open to expanding hours to include more of this work.
This role is perfect for someone seeking work during school hours.
About the FamilyThis is a warm and thoughtful household with whom we've loved working before. They lean towards a gentle parenting style with boundaries and routines, and their toddler is an energetic, curious little girl who loves to dance and learn. Their home also includes a friendly but cautious cat, so pet comfort is a must.
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $35.00 – $38.00 per hour
