Central Operations Support
We are a growing early childhood education group, with an ambitious agenda to expand our centres and strengthen our support office capability. With no current HR function in place, this is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to step in and establish the People & Culture function from the ground up.
About the Role
We're looking for a highly organised and proactive Central Operations Support professional to join our growing support office team. This role is designed for someone who thrives on bringing structure and clarity to operations, supporting the CEO and corporate operations team, and helping the support office stay connected, communicate effectively, and work together seamlessly.
You'll play a pivotal part in supporting acquisitions, administration, and day-to-day coordination for the CEO and corporate operations team. Alongside this, you'll be the first point of contact for IT and facilities maintenance across our centres, ensuring requests are managed efficiently and processes run smoothly.
This role is primarily work from home, with requirements to attend our Liverpool work hub and/or centres as needed to support operational priorities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide operational and administrative support to the CEO and corporate operations team.
- Coordinate acquisition administration, including onboarding of new centres and managing documentation.
- Assist with centre integration projects, ensuring operational tasks are delivered accurately and on time.
- Act as the first point of contact for IT and facilities maintenance queries across the group.
- Manage supplier relationships, maintenance schedules, and asset tracking.
- Contribute to business improvement projects, with a focus on efficiency, collaboration, and practical outcomes.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and love keeping systems and processes in order.
- 2–4 years' experience in administration, operations, or business support (multi-site or education/childcare experience is a plus but not required).
- A problem-solver with a "get it done" attitude and willingness to roll up your sleeves.
- Confident coordinating across multiple stakeholders and juggling competing priorities.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable supporting IT and systems-related requests.
- An excellent communicator who values relationships, teamwork, and helping others stay connected.
- A role where your organisational skills will directly impact a fast-growing group.
- Opportunities to support acquisitions and integration projects across multiple centres.
- A flexible work arrangement, combining work from home with onsite support at our Liverpool hub and centres.
- Involvement in building efficient, connected, and collaborative operations across the business.
If you're passionate about bringing order, collaboration, and operational support to a purpose-driven organisation, we invite you to apply and bring your skills to our growing team.
Please apply with your CV and a brief cover letter outlining your relevant experience.
Shortlisted candidates will be contacted to complete a short questionnaire as part of the pre-screening selection process. The successful shortlist will then be contacted for a first interview to discuss the role in more detail. We anticipate at least two interview stages for this role.
We can't wait to hear from you
