About the role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to support the company's growth. The ideal candidate will be proactive, meticulous and eager to contribute directly to the company's expansion.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the marketing team, sales team, distribution partners, suppliers, KOLs, chefs and other stakeholders to plan, organise and execute strategic promotions, merchandising and marketing campaigns
  • Play a key role in building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with suppliers and customers
  • Work with various teams to coordinate sales operations with stores (includes but not limited to deliveries, customer enquiries and feedback, etc)
  • Feedback and report market trends and demands and work together with the team to formulate sales strategy
  • Oversee the receiving process for imports, verifying contents against documentation
  • Prepare and manage shipping documentation, customs and biosecurity clearances
  • Assist with merchandising duties such as stock rotation, product placement etc.
  • Work closely with management to develop strategies and strengthen relationships to gain market share
  • Work independently with the ability to manage your schedule concurrent to the company's projects and events
  • Continuously develop your skills and product knowledge to keep abreast with industry trends and customer needs
  • Be a team player within a collaborative environment
  • Other tasks as required to support the business

What you'll bring:

  • Full working rights in Australia and lives in Sydney
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Being able to speak multiple languages is preferred
  • Must have an Australian driver's license
  • Willingness to work hard and learn
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Excel, Word
  • Foodservice and retail sales experience is highly desirable
  • Experience from FMCG or beverage industries will be considered

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $55,545.22 – $123,947.82 per year
