Assistant Accountant

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, cash flow management, and financial coding.
- Support the preparation of financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and audits, providing insights to help guide strategic financial decisions.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, assist with returns and acquittals, and maintain accurate financial records.
About You:
We are seeking motivated, organised, and proactive candidates who are eager to grow in finance. You may have some or all of the following:
- Experience with accounting software (Xero preferred) or general accounting experience.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Professional, proactive, and willing to take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
