About the Role

S&A Stairs, one of Australia's most respected timber manufacturers, is looking for a hands-on CNC Supervisor to lead our CNC team in Braeside.

You'll lead a small, skilled team that produces high-quality timber components on state-of-the-art machines.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading and supporting a team of 5 in our CNC Department
  • Assisting and overseeing production on:
    • Flatbed Woodtron
    • 3 × Pod & Rail 5-axis Biesse Rover A
    • Pod & Rail 5-axis Biesse Rover C
  • Ensuring high-quality output for stair components
  • Helping maintain machines, tools and workflow
  • Working closely with production to prioritise jobs efficiently

About You

You'll be a practical, safety-focused operator who takes pride in precision.

You might already be a CNC team leader, OR you may be a highly skilled operator ready to step up.

We're looking for:

  • CNC operating experience (timber ideal, but metal or composite CNC considered)
  • Leadership experience or the confidence to take the next step
  • A trade qualification (carpentry, joinery, cabinetmaking or similar preferred)
  • A current driver's licence
  • A positive attitude, reliability, and pride in your work
