An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Data Engineering Senior Specialist to join a high-performing data team working on large-scale enterprise initiatives within a modern Azure environment. This role offers the chance to design and optimise end-to-end data solutions that directly support strategic decision-making and business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and optimisation of scalable data pipelines using Azure Databricks (data processing and transformation platform) and Azure Synapse Analytics
  • Build and enhance ETL workflows using Azure Logic Apps (workflow automation and integration tool) and Azure Data Factory
  • Develop and maintain production-grade code in Python, Spark SQL, and PySpark
  • Manage data ingestion, transformation, and storage within Azure Data Lake
  • Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver accurate, well-governed datasets
  • Contribute to enterprise data architecture, governance, and optimisation best practices

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
  • Proven hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Logic Apps
  • Solid understanding of Azure cloud data services, including Data Factory, Data Lake, and related integration components
  • Experience building and deploying scalable data pipelines using Spark SQL or PySpark
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, dependable attitude
