This is a key role in the Performance Reporting Team to:

  1. Support the delivery of transformational improvements to the budget and forecasting process for AFG and support provision of superior MI to the business
  2. Put a strong commercial lens on the business focusing on key business drivers, business risks & opportunities and translating financials into actionable insights to drive the business forward.

Skills and Experience

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, commerce, economics or mathematics
  • 2 years of experience in a similar FP&A role
  • Knowledge of the Financial Services industry (preferred)
  • Systems – EPM & Oracle (preferred)
  • Strong business acumen and a positive results-oriented attitude
  • Excellent oral and written presentation, communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to create and maintain positive and professional relationships
  • Business Partnering Skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence diverse stakeholder groups to achieve desired outcomes
  • Advanced Excel / modelling skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
