Kreskas Brothers specializes in the efficient transportation of import and export containers, seamlessly connecting the Port of Melbourne with the Goulburn Valley Region. Kreskas Brothers are committed to delivering reliable logistics services, ensuring the safe and timely movement of goods across these key locations.

In addition to our transportation services, we operate a state-of-the-art distribution center where we focus on cross-docking containers. This process allows us to quickly transfer goods from one mode of transport to another, minimizing storage time and optimizing supply chain efficiency.

The Opportunity:

Kreskas Brothers Transport are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated Junior Fleet Controller to join our growing team. If you're eager to start your career in the transport and logistics industry and have a passion for problem-solving, organization, and working in a fast-paced environment, this is the opportunity for you

Responsibilities of this role include but not limited to:

  • Help plan and optimize local vehicle routes to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries while minimizing delays and maximizing fleet productivity.
  • Problem-solving and issue resolution respond quickly to operational challenges such as delays, accidents, or breakdowns. Collaborate with the team to find effective solutions and minimize service disruptions.
  • Customer Service Support address any customer queries or concerns related to deliveries, ensuring that the fleet's performance meets client expectations and company standards.
  • Support fleet manager and senior staff provide administrative and operational support to senior fleet managers and supervisors, ensuring that fleet operations run efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Driver Coordination communicate with drivers to provide them with accurate delivery instructions, route adjustments, and any updates to schedules or requirements.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong of attention to detail.
  • An Ability to problem solve within a fast-paced environment.
  • Aptitude to pick up Transport Management Software.
  • Level of understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel Outlook, Word).
