About the Role

We're seeking a part-time Payroll Administrator to join our team for 3 days per week, working Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesdays, with the flexibility to work additional days during periods of staff leave. There is also scope for the hours to increase in the future.

While this role will focus mainly on processing the weekly payroll, you will also have the opportunity to assist the Administration team with other administrative tasks.

The hours of work required are 8am to 4pm, however these hours may be negotiable for the right candidate.

This presents an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and make an impact while working alongside our talented and experienced Administration team who will provide ongoing support and guidance.

What you will be doing:

In this role your duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Processing payroll on a weekly basis.
  • Maintaining employee payroll records, including tax, superannuation and leave entitlements.
  • Interpreting awards and other legislative requirements to ensure correct payroll calculations.
  • Responding to employee queries regarding payslips, deductions and entitlements.
  • Staying updated with changes in payroll legislation and regulations.
  • Providing administrative assistance to the Administration team.
  • Other duties as required by the Senior Administrator.

Who we are looking for:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • 2-3 years' experience in Administration.
  • Strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in payroll processing.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with MYOB AccountRight payroll is preferred, however training will be provided.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
