About the role
We are seeking a full-time Vehicle Body Assembler / Accessories Fitter to join the team at Ridgeback Service Bodies in Mordialloc, VIC. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for assembling and fitting a range of vehicle accessories to ensure our customers' vehicles are customised to their exact specifications.
What you'll be doing
- Assembling and fitting predominantly service bodies and also vehicle accessories such as tow bars, roof racks, side steps, and other aftermarket products
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate installation
- Performing quality checks to ensure all work meets required standards
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
- Collaborating with the wider team to deliver exceptional customer service
What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Body Assembler or similar role within the automotive industry
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and instructions
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- A valid driver's license
