Sales and Marketing Manager
Go Solar Group is a leading wholesale, installation and engineering company in Australia. Over the years, we have established strong partnerships with the key manufacturers in the market, which enables us to provide our clients the best products at the most competitive price.
We are currently seeking a full-time Sales and Marketing Manager to join our team in Queensland. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth, developing and implementing marketing strategies, and managing client relationships to ensure continued success and expansion of our brand.
Responsibilities:
- Strategize, manage, oversee and implement Go Solar Group's sales and marketing policies, plans and activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and growth targets.
- Organize, monitor, and enforce sales targets and KPIs, and implement initiatives to maximize revenue, increase customer retention, and strengthen loyalty in the solar and renewable energy solutions market.
- Direct and oversee sales strategies and arrangements, including setting pricing structures to optimize revenue and ensure commercial efficiency.
- Lead the creation and execution of marketing strategies that effectively promote Go Solar Group's products and services, expand market reach, and engage a diverse client base.
- Drive strategic initiatives to enhance the company's brand identity, build customer trust, and reinforce a strong presence in the solar and engineering sector.
- Formulate and implement policies and plans for marketing and sales activities, including identifying customer requirements and targeting new market opportunities.
- Oversee and manage the annual marketing and sales budget to achieve financial targets, including field sales action plans, advertising campaigns, and promotional activities.
- Drive market research initiatives to identify emerging trends and strategically capitalize on opportunities to enhance product visibility, marketability, and profitability.
- Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities for system and process improvements to achieve operational and strategic goals.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with key clients to secure long-term business partnerships.
- Lead the collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data and sales trends, delivering actionable insights and strategic recommendations through comprehensive reports.
- Stay current with industry developments and best practices by participating in professional development opportunities, attending conferences, and maintaining a strong professional network.
Required Qualification & Skills
- Relevant bachelor's degree or higher. Or at least five years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification.
- At least 1 - 2 years of proven management experience, ideally in the energy or renewable sector.
- Ability to clearly communicate complex situations to lay people, so that the right outcome is achieved.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to think strategically even while working in detail.
- Demonstrable project/schedule management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work under pressure preferred.
Salary
Annual salary range for this position is between 80,000 to $100,000 plus super. Actual remuneration to commensurate with skills and experience.
