About The Role:
This role is the subject matter expert for Human Resources analytics and reporting, owning the creation, maintenance, and quality assurance of key data sets and metrics. The purpose of this role is to provide workforce business analysis and reporting and support the implementation of the HR technology roadmap.
This role will be responsible for the provision of advice and support the HR function to evaluate workforce impacts and opportunities as the business ER landscape develops. This role will be responsible for analysing the current workforce data, determining future workforce needs, identifying the gap between the present and the future, and implementing solutions so that an organisation can accomplish its mission, goals, and strategic plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create analytics dashboards across the HR Function, including Workforce Planning, Payroll, Employee Experience, WHS & Wellbeing, Talent Acquisition and Management.
- Provide workforce business analysis support to the HR function to evaluate workforce impacts and opportunities as the business ER landscape develops e.g. support "what if" award costing scenario testing for EA/Award negotiations
- Create and deliver comprehensive reports on workforce metrics suitable for communication to the MTC executive, MTC global executive, MTC leaders and contract stakeholders, including ABF and Home Affairs and other state and federal government departments and agencies
- Own monthly HR reporting such as the headcount, FTE, turnover, gender equity and performance plans
- Review current administrative and reporting processes, and create automated solutions using PowerBI, Power Query, Power Automate, Excel, Sharepoint, Online Forms etc
- Assist with the data collection and management of data relating to compliance frameworks and certifications
Key Requirements:
- Specialist knowledge of Power BI
- Proven experience in HR systems, reporting or HR analytics
- Strong Excel skills, pivots, lookups, formulas and visual formatting
- Ability to build reports that are accurate, timely and visually effective
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Ability to translate data into insights for business decision making
- Proven experience in developing pathways to maturity on data management, reporting and insight generation
