Company Summary:

We're partnering with a reputable
civil construction contractor
specialising in local council and infrastructure projects across Greater Sydney. Their expertise spans
roadworks, drainage, subdivisions, and civil earthworks
. They are seeking an experienced
Senior Estimator
to join their head office in
Bossley Park, NSW
.

Key Responsibilities


• Prepare detailed estimates for civil and infrastructure projects.


• Review tender documentation, drawings, and technical reports to define scope and identify risks.


• Lead the tender process from pricing through to submission, including subcontractor engagement and quote analysis.


• Develop construction methodologies, programs, and supporting documentation.


• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors during pre- and post-tender stages.


• Work closely with project managers and engineers to ensure alignment between pricing, delivery, and client expectations.


• Maintain estimating databases, rate libraries, and project cost history for continuous improvement.

Requirements


• Minimum
4 years' experience
as an
Estimator
in civil construction.


• Strong understanding of local government and council projects is highly desirable.


• Proficient in estimating software (e.g. Cubit, Expert Estimation, Benchmark, or similar).


• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.


• Sound commercial acumen with strong attention to detail and analytical skills.


• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to liaise confidently with clients and stakeholders.


• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
