Cranfield Group has exclusively partnered with a leading civil contractor who is recruiting for a Senior Estimator in Sydney.

A trusted name in transport and utilities Infrastructure—known for delivering some of the state's most high profile projects. 

The Role

You'll lead mid-to-large water infrastructure tenders, driving end-to-end submissions, pricing, and methodology whilst working with a collaborative team:

  • Manage tenders for pipelines, pump stations & treatment facilities
  • Review tender docs & prep accurate cost estimates
  • Source & assess supplier/subbie quotes
  • Quantify labour, materials & equipment needs
  • Create simple AutoCAD or SketchUp models
  • Keep pricing databases & registers up to date
  • Support & mentor junior team members

Experience

  • Australian working rights are essential
  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or similar
  • Comprehensive estimating experience (civil and/or water)
  • Water infrastructure experience highly advantageous
  • Great written & verbal communication skills
  • Confident with Excel & Word
  • Solid, long-term employment history
  • Proactive, eager to learn & strong work ethic
