About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has emerged to join one of Australia's most dynamic renewable energy and infrastructure organisations, now entering a major project delivery phase. This role offers a front-row seat to one of Australia's most significant infrastructure developments, with the opportunity to influence policy, shape investment outcomes, and contribute to a significant transformation of the national energy system. This opportunity will see you join a purpose-driven organisation that values innovation, collaboration, and excellence - where your contribution will directly impact how future energy networks are designed, regulated, and delivered.
About the Role
As the Regulatory Manager, you will be part of a forward-thinking networks team that is delivering new transmission and grid infrastructure to enable Australia's clean energy future. Your expertise will directly influence how large-scale renewable energy is integrated, regulated, and supported through policy and pricing frameworks. Your key duties will include:
- Lead the preparation of regulatory submissions, compliance reports, and consultation responses to key agencies.
- Engage proactively with regulators, government bodies, and industry stakeholders to advocate for commercially and strategically sound outcomes.
- Monitor and interpret policy and regulatory developments across electricity, energy markets, and infrastructure.
- Provide expert advice to internal teams on cost recovery, network pricing, and investment strategy.
- Represent the business in industry forums and regulatory working groups, building influence and credibility across the sector.
About You
You are a confident and commercially astute professional who thrives in complex, evolving regulatory environments. With a background in energy, utilities, infrastructure, or transport regulation, you bring both strategic insight and operational execution capability. Tertiary qualifications in Economics, Law, Finance, Engineering, or Policy are required, along with 5-7+ years' experience within a regulated industry. You will have the proven ability to influence regulatory outcomes and deliver high-quality submissions along with excellent written and verbal communication skills. With an eye for detail and an ability to translate complexity into clarity, your strong stakeholder management and analytical skills will separate you from you peers.
