About your new Role: 

As a newly established position, the Advice Engagement Coach plays a key role in elevating the quality, consistency, and compliance of advice-related interactions across Brighter Super's member-facing teams. Responsible for delivering targeted coaching and quality assurance, the role ensures our representatives provide advice and triage services in line with AFSL obligations and our commitment to members' best interests. Collaborating with the Member Growth, Advice, and Risk and Compliance teams, the Coach drives continuous improvement, supports regulatory compliance, and contributes to the governance of advice fee arrangements, helping fulfil trustee responsibilities and protect Brighter Super's reputation.

  • Provide quality assurance and coaching to General Advice (GA) qualified representatives
  • Focus on enhancing the engagement quality of GA conversations and referrals to personal advice
  • Review and assess member conversations, coaching on engagement compliance
  • Individual and group coaching (up to 24 people)
  • Maintain high standards of advice delivery in alignment with AFSL obligations and trustee responsibilities
  • Strategic input into training and development frameworks
  • Support the uplift of referral quality and coaching of general advice parameters
  • Quality assurance assessments and reporting
  • Building training/coaching plans independently
  • Partnering with Growth and Advice teams
  • Supporting ongoing compliance, engagement uplift, and member-centric outcomes

About You: 

Your strengths lie in your ability to work independently, communicate with impact, and build capability across teams.

  • Self-starter and autonomous
  • Enjoys building from the ground up
  • Confident communicator, presenter and relationship builder
  • Able to navigate ambiguity and shape own approach
  • Strong experience in coaching, training, and stakeholder management
  • Experienced in guiding and developing teams through tailored coaching and mentorship
  • RG146 Compliance - or is open to renewing/completing certification upon commencement.
  • Experience in financial services; a background in superannuation is highly regarded
