Hall & Wilcox's China Practice is a collaborative cross-sectional practice that serves Chinese and Chinese-speaking clients, comprising lawyers in dispute resolution, corporate and commercial, banking and finance, and property. There is an opportunity for a talented and motivated Mandarin speaking litigator to join the team. This is a growth role as our team continues to grow and expand.The successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of litigation and dispute resolution matters, including:contractual disputes;shareholder oppression and corporate disputes;corporate insolvency and bankruptcy matters, including acting and advising insolvency practitioners, directors, financial institutions in various claims and actions;misleading conduct and Australian Consumer Law disputes;trust and equity disputes; andproperty and leasing disputes.About youYou will ideally have the following skills and experience:at least 3 years of post-admission experience in Australia in dispute resolution and litigation;familiarity with Court rules and common causes of action;strong English and Mandarin oral communication skills;strong English written communication and drafting skills, with good attention to detail; andthe ability to handle a busy workload with competing timelines.About usHall & Wilcox is a leading independent Australian law firm.
