About the opportunity   

We are seeking Graduate Geotechnical Engineers who are ready to start their career within our company. We can provide both practical and office-based experience, with mentoring and guidance from some of the most experienced mining professionals in the business. 

Our aim is to develop well-rounded Engineers who can enjoy a successful career for years to come. You will have the opportunity to engage in a 2 year program where the primary objections are the collection and control of geotechnical data and developing your skills and understanding of all facets of Geotechnical Engineering. 

What do I need?

• Tertiary Qualification in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering
• Practical experience / vacation time deemed advantageous.
• Strong computer literacy skills.
• Excellent communication skills with all levels of operation 
• Possess a current and valid Manual Driver's Licence 
• Possess a National Police Clearance valid within the last 12 months 
• The ability to pass Westgold's pre-employment process
