Who could you be at GHD?

In Perth, our team working on analysis of geotechnical field information, mapping, field testing, and more is on the lookout for our next graduate in 2026  Based out of our Perth office, and with a degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering with an interest in the Geotechnical sector, your passion for solving complex treatment challenges and improving operational efficiency will serve you well in this role. 

Here's a bit more about what you'll be doing:

• Data Collection and Analysis: Collate and analyze data using preset tools, methods, and formats. Involves working independently.
• Geoscientific Studies and Interpretations: Contribute to well proposals by analyzing and interpreting geological/geophysical field data.
• Geotechnical Analysis: Assist in evaluating field and lab data and perform geotechnical analyzes. 
• Engineering Solutions Design: Contribute to the development of, and implement feasibility testing of, proposed engineering solutions to provide feedback and data to validate the design.

Here's what to expect, step by step:

• Screening: We review applications as they come in, but be mindful that the bulk of our screening happens after applications close, so don't worry if you don't hear from us right away. 
• Video interviews: If you make it through the first stage, you'll record some answers to a few straightforward questions. This helps us get a sense of your communication style and what excites you about GHD.
• Meet the team: Next, you'll have a face-to-face or virtual interview with your prospective team. We'll chat through some behavioural based questions to learn more about your skills and experience. It's also a chance for you to get to know us
• Psychometric assessments: These quick tests give us a glimpse into how you like to work and your strengths in relation to the role, complementing what we learn during your interview.
• Offer: Congratulations If you're successful, we'll talk through all the finer details, like salary, your start date, and our background checking process.

Most of our full-time roles kick off in February 2026, though some teams might have earlier start dates in mid-2025. Plus, there might also be casual work opportunities throughout your final year of study to give you a head start.
