Our client is seeking an experienced senior front-end lawyer to join their big performing in-house legal team to work across a range of major infrastructure and renewables projects.

Position Description

This role will see you report to the Regional Manager of Legal and supports businesses in the APAC region, with a strong focus on projects in Australia.

You will work on a range of matters including:

  • Overseeing legal matters in Asia Pacific.
  • Collaborating on deal structuring, negotiation, and closure for regional projects.
  • Providing legal guidance to management and project teams during project execution.
  • Assisting in dispute resolution.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have a minimum of
8 years' post admission experience
in major projects, infrastructure, renewable energy. There may also be some travel required from time to time.

In addition, you will have:

  • Strong business acumen and pragmatic problem-solving ability.
  • Exceptional advisory, negotiation, and drafting skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills for building relationships across all business levels.
  • Eager to actively contribute in a collaborative team setting.
