About the role

We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant – Nurses to join our thriving team in Toowoomba, Queensland. As a Recruitment Consultant, you will play a crucial role in sourcing and placing qualified nursing professionals into rewarding roles within the healthcare industry.

This is a
full-time position

What you'll be doing

  • Source and screen candidates through job boards, referrals and internal databases.
  • Conduct interviews and assess qualifications, experience and cultural fit.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including onboarding, compliance checks and contract coordination.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare facilities and nursing staff.
  • Maintain accurate records in the recruitment system and ensure documentation meets regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with placement specialists to ensure smooth transitions and high retention.
  • Attend recruitment events and expos as needed.

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in recruitment,
    preferably in healthcare or nursing
    .
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with AHPRA registration and healthcare compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in recruitment software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to candidate care.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Clinical background (Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse, current or former).
  • Ability to quickly assess candidate suitability based on clinical knowledge.
  • Strong rapport-building skills with nursing professionals.
  • Understanding of the healthcare sector and workforce needs.
