We're looking for an experienced SAP BW/4HANA Consultant to join a 6-month project, with the possibility of extension. The role is based in Brisbane with flexibility for hybrid working, and candidates from Melbourne, Sydney, or Adelaide will also be considered.

This role sits within a major data transformation program, focusing on the migration from traditional SAP BW environments to BW/4HANA. You'll be responsible for designing and delivering scalable data models, supporting integration work, and developing advanced reporting solutions. The position offers a mix of technical delivery and stakeholder engagement, making it ideal for someone who enjoys bridging business needs with technical expertise.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and contribute to the transition from legacy BW systems to SAP BW/4HANA.
  • Design, build, and refine data models in BW/4HANA to support business reporting needs.
  • Develop modern reporting solutions, including dashboards and analytics, using Power BI.
  • Work closely with business users to translate requirements into technical outcomes.
  • Provide best-practice advice on performance tuning, governance, and long-term scalability.
  • Support delivery across all phases of the project—design, build, testing, and deployment.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong hands-on experience with BW/4HANA and HANA modelling.
  • Solid background in data modelling and ETL development.
  • Practical expertise in Power BI reporting and dashboard creation.
  • Previous involvement in BW to BW/4HANA migration projects.
  • Ability to balance technical work with functional understanding and clear communication.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and confidence in working with stakeholders.
