Alumni Global is proud to partner with Gold Coast Health to recruit two Clinical Directors of Emergency Care Services. These senior leadership positions are located at Gold Coast University Hospital and at Robina Hospital with Tugun Satellite Health Centre. Both roles combine clinical presence with significant strategic and operational responsibility, offering a career-defining opportunity to influence emergency care delivery across a growing and diverse region.

About the Roles
As Clinical Directors, you will provide senior clinical and operational leadership within your respective sites, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, and efficient emergency care. Each role carries a dual focus of approximately 25% clinical delivery and 75% non-clinical leadership. Responsibilities include leading service design and innovation, overseeing departmental performance against key national standards, and embedding sustainable models of care. You will drive workforce development, education, and research initiatives, mentor future leaders, and foster an inclusive team culture committed to excellence.
Candidate Profile
We are seeking FACEM-qualified leaders with substantial experience in emergency medicine and proven senior leadership capability. You will bring strong communication and change management skills, along with a track record in service innovation, workforce planning, and quality improvement. A collaborative leadership style, grounded in integrity, compassion, and respect, will be essential. Postgraduate qualifications in health management or leadership will be highly regarded.
