The Opportunity
Join our team as a Gas Service/Mains Pipelayer and play a key role in delivering essential Gas Infrastructure Projects across Perth's Metropolitan Area (North and South of CBD). This is a unique opportunity to work on impactful projects that ensure the safe and reliable delivery of gas to communities. Whether you're an experienced pipelayer or bringing expertise from another region, in partnership with ATCO we will provide comprehensive training to help you become a gas infrastructure expert

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain mains and services on the ATCO Gas Network to the highest safety and quality standards.

  • Set out levels accurately and interpret technical plans/drawings.

  • Perform pipe welding, excavation, compaction, and service location (DBYD) with precision.

  • Plan and execute daily tasks proactively to meet project deadlines.

  • Lead or collaborate within a team to achieve project goals.

  • Embrace continuous learning to enhance your skills and expertise.

  • Pass an industry-standard pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Mains Layer/Pipelayer with ATCO Gas Network experience.

  • Valid ATCO Gas Network accreditations (e.g., SL1, SL2, ML1, ML2, partial or full).

  • Current Manual Driver's License (MR or higher preferred).

  • White Card.

Desirable (Not Essential)

  • Butt Fusion and Electrofusion PE Welding Tickets.

  • Excavator, Skid Steer, or Loader Tickets.
