Who are we looking for?
We are looking for Canberra-based
Executive and Senior Advisors
in the areas of business case, major project advisory, public policy and infrastructure strategy as we expand our Federal Government Advisory team.
Based in our
Canberra Office
, your role will be to lead key Federal Government client relationships and engagements that shape Australia's infrastructure policy and associated major projects.
Working with a high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Using your expertise and Federal Government knowledge to successfully win and secure opportunities in business case development, economic modelling public policy and infrastructure strategy development
- Identify key contacts and opportunities and lead client engagement.
- Leading project pursuits including internal teaming arrangements and contractual negotiations
- Leading, owning and delivering a variety of projects at all levels.
- Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with clients and collaborating with internal GHD regions and Leadership teams
- Providing technical leadership on nominated projects as required
- Mentoring and guiding Business Advisory professionals through the initial stages of their Career
What would you bring to the team?
- Extensive experience delivering Business Advisory services, ideally within the Federal Government environment.
- Proven experience delivering Government business cases, economic and financial modelling and policy development.
- You will have proven experience in working across business development, technical and design leadership, client satisfaction and relationship building spanning multi-disciplinary projects.
- Commercial acumen and critical-thinking ability along with a commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion and to advocate for equity.
- Strong report writing, interviewing, facilitation and presentation skills.
- Ability to influence others, strong negotiating skills.
