Date: 28 Aug 2025

Location: Perth, Australia

Company: Webuild S.p.A.

Clough, as part of a Joint Venture with Saipem, is delivering Project 'CERES' urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes. The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training and business opportunities.

We are seeking a passionate and culturally grounded Principal Advisor with a connection to the Pilbara—or a strong willingness to learn and engage with local communities—who can help guide our approach to Indigenous engagement, heritage management, and local content.

We are committed to finding the best person for the role and we value flexibility, so we are open to shaping this role around the right candidate, including flexible rosters and or work locations.

Who we are

Clough is a pioneering project delivery company that harnesses innovative engineering and construction solutions to improve peoples' lives today and tomorrow.

Together with our parent company, Webuild, we are delivering some of Australia's largest projects.

Who you are

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a strong connection to or understanding of the Pilbara region—whether through lived experience, community ties, or prior work in the area.
  • Is deeply committed to Indigenous empowerment, heritage protection, and social equity.
  • Understands and respects Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and protocols.
  • Can build trust and navigate complex stakeholder environments with empathy and integrity.
  • May come from a background in community engagement, heritage, workforce development, procurement, or Indigenous affairs—formal qualifications are valued but not essential if lived experience and leadership are present.
  • Is collaborative, proactive, and outcomes-focused.
  • Has strong communication skills—verbal, written and cross-cultural.

If you're an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person and you meet some (but not all) of the above criteria, we strongly encourage you to reach out to us. We are open to working with you to shape a meaningful role.

Your Impact

  • In this role, you'll:
  • Build and maintain respectful, long-term relationships with Traditional Owners, Indigenous businesses, community leaders, and government partners.
  • Provide leadership across the implementation of our Indigenous Participation and Heritage Management Plans.
  • Work in close collaboration with procurement, commercial and workforce teams to create pathways for local Indigenous participation, training, employment and enterprise.
  • Support Indigenous suppliers in navigating procurement processes and access to funding opportunities.
  • Advocate for culturally appropriate, inclusive and sustainable engagement practices across the project.
  • Represent the project in regional forums, stakeholder meetings, and public presentations as required.

Our Benefits

We believe in creating workplaces where everyone can thrive. Our team members enjoy:

  • A values-driven culture that puts people first.
  • Flexibility in how, when and where you work.
  • Mental health and wellbeing support programs.
  • Employee assistance programs for you and your family.
  • Salary packaging and discounted services.
  • Opportunities for development, learning and leadership.

We're building a diverse workforce
