Join a trading firm focused on market making and arbitrage opportunities globally. Their scale and efficiency allow them to be nimble, responding quickly to market opportunities and regulatory changes, whilst ensuring that they operate under a robust operational risk management framework.

The Role:

you will have the opportunity to work at the heart of the trading systems. Responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Deliver focused improvements to the operational robustness and profitability of the trading platform
  • Contribute to mission critical projects encompassing everything from trading, pricing, positions and risk, through to analytics and market connectivity
  • Work flexibly with a focus on real time issues as well as long term projects
  • Performance tuning, maximizing throughput and minimizing latency
  • Ongoing consultation with the trading team to understand how technology can best satisfy their needs

What you will bring:

  • Core Java focus
  • Development in either C++ or C#
  • A scripting language, preferably Python
  • Experience working in a High Frequency Trading firm
  • Experience working in both Windows and Linux environments
  • Understanding of network protocols
