Principal Java Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Java Expert who can identify potential issues before they occur and implement effective solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in troubleshooting, optimizing, and modernizing enterprise-grade Java applications within complex integration environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and remediate performance bottlenecks and application failures in complex Java environments.
  • Analyze, refactor, and optimize containerized legacy Java Spring Boot codebases.
  • Replatform and enhance DB2 and PostgreSQL database environments.
  • Support and integrate with IBM enterprise platforms and middleware solutions.
  • Collaborate across teams to deliver robust, scalable, and high-performing applications.
  • Proactively monitor application health and ensure seamless performance.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong experience with DB2 and PostgreSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with IBM integration platforms and enterprise systems.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and refactor complex applications.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
