About this Opportunity
We are seeking a pro-active, professional and driven Business Development Executive to join our team at First Class Hampers in Braeside, Melbourne, focused on onboarding new clients within the corporate and real estate sectors.
Your role will focus on new business development, relationship building and managing the sales process from lead to close — you'll use your communication skills to maximise new leads, nurture client relationships and deliver outstanding results.

What You'll Be Doing
Client Acquisition & Development
- Identify and engage decision-makers in targeted industries.
- Follow the company's sales plan and customer target list for structured prospecting.
- Build and manage relationships to convert leads into long-term clients.
Lead & Pipeline Management
- Manage and update your sales pipeline and move leads through key stages.
- Meet or exceed weekly outreach and prospecting targets.
- Monitor and report on key sales metrics – including revenue generated, closing rates, outreach activity and progress towards monthly targets – to ensure alignment with overall sales goals.
Client Relationship Management
- Provide gifting solutions that align with client needs.
- Maintain relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.
- Collaborate with our Client Services & Design team for seamless order delivery.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have the following experience and skills:
- Proven experience in B2B sales and business development– ideally within real estate or corporate services.
- Experience in an e-commerce environment preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication and confidence engaging with senior decision makers.
- Strong written communication for email outreach and follow-ups.
- Experience with CRM systems (Hubspot is a plus).
- Highly organised and self-motivated, with a structured and disciplined approach to sales activities.
- Ability to manage a high volume of prospects while maintaining a personalised and professional client experience.
- A passion for delivering value and building lasting client relationships.
- A resilient, goal-oriented mindset – you thrive on targets and results.
