As an Emerging Stylist you will be responsible for assisting with the upkeep of the salon and maintaining progression with your studies and skill development with the educational support provided.
As an Hairdressing Apprentice/Emerging Stylist you will be responsible for assisting with the upkeep of the salon and maintaining progression with your studies and skill development with the educational support provided.
THE DAY TO DAY
● Maintaining a welcoming, clean and presentable environment
● Assisting senior colleagues to deliver salon services in a timely manner.
● Engaging with clients positively - promoting a positive image for yourself and the salon.
● Creating a positive hair journey; greeting, gowning and offering refreshments in readiness for services.
● Making and serving of refreshments.
● Preparation of tools, equipment and products to ensure seamlessness of services.
● Carrying out basin work as directed by a senior; shampoo services, removal of colour ect.
● Throughout progression, performing services such as glossing, blow drying, tonging and other tasks deemed suitable under supervision if required.
● Attending and being present at education days.
● Organising models as directed by your educators for your internal education days.
● Keeping up to date with your units of study and progression.
● Taking initiative; communicating with your salon managers and educators to bring models in salon outside of education days.
● Supporting Salon Operations Manager and Salon Operations Coordinators with tasks as required
